Money Mouse: a tiny fortune-bringer in a red hat

Few slot mascots look as pleased with themselves as this one. Money Mouse wears the red robe and winged hat of a Chinese wealth deity and clutches a gold ingot nearly as large as his head. Pragmatic Play released the game to mark the Year of the Rat, and the reels follow the familiar Lunar New Year palette of crimson, gold and lantern light.

What we can say about the gameplay

Money Mouse is not one of the studio’s headline titles, and its rules are not widely discussed. Rather than fill this page with guesses, we suggest you start where any careful player would: the paytable. It sets out the grid, the symbols and how the wild and any bonus feature behave. Read it once, and the first fifty spins will make a lot more sense.

Why people pick it

The appeal is mostly charm. The mouse animates cheerfully when wins land, the screen is tidy and the pace is relaxed. It sits comfortably next to other festive titles for players who like the theme but do not want anything too intense.

Money Mouse free play, step by step

The demo gives you 1,000 virtual credits; there is no account to open and nothing to install. Try this: 100 spins at a modest stake, about 20p, while noting roughly how many spins pay anything at all. Then reach the bonus at least once, however long it takes, to see what it actually looks like. Finally, play a short burst at a higher stake to judge the swings. On mobile, the large symbols keep everything readable.

It also pays to try the autoplay settings in the demo. Setting a block of 50 spins with a loss limit is a good habit to learn here, where it costs nothing, before you ever use it with real stakes.
