Panda's Fortune 2: the panda returns, sharper and brighter

On the title screen, the panda perches at the top of a bamboo frame, with jade-green mountains and drifting cloud behind him. Compared with the first game, everything looks crisper: deeper colours, cleaner symbols and smoother animation. Panda's Fortune 2 is Pragmatic Play revisiting one of its long-running themes with the production standards of its newer releases.

What changes from the first game

The setting and the lucky-charm symbols carry over, so returning players will feel at home. The differences are in presentation and in the feature set, which was reworked for the sequel. Rather than assume it plays like the original, check the paytable screen in the demo before you start: it spells out the wild, the scatter and the bonus rules of this version. Spotting what is new is half the fun of trying a sequel.

The feel of a session

Like the first game, the Panda's Fortune 2 slot favours a steady rhythm over noise. Wins are easy to follow and the screen never becomes cluttered. That makes it a decent choice for long sessions on a phone, when you want something that does not demand constant attention.

How to try Panda's Fortune 2 demo

You start with 1,000 virtual credits, no sign-up and nothing to download. A fair comparison is to play 150 spins here and 150 on the original Panda's Fortune at the same stake, say 20p. Note how often each game reaches its feature and how the balance moves in between. That side-by-side test tells you more than any review. Once you have a favourite, raise the stake for a short spell to see how comfortable the swings feel.

If you only have a few minutes, skip the comparison and simply play until the first feature. Seeing it once is enough to decide whether the sequel deserves a longer session.
