Piggie 7: a crowned pig and a muddy farmyard

The pig on the title screen has the startled, delighted look of someone who has just been handed a crown and has no idea why. Behind him, a windmill turns against a dusky purple sky, and the logo, “7 Piggies”, is spattered with mud. We list it as Piggie 7, but it is the same Pragmatic Play game.

An older title, kept simple

7 Piggies belongs to Pragmatic Play’s earlier catalogue and is not one of the games people write long guides about. We will not pretend otherwise or describe features we cannot confirm. The paytable inside the demo tells you the line count, the symbol values and what the pig king does. Spend a minute there first; on a compact game like this, it is the quickest way to understand where the wins come from.

The mood

The Piggie 7 slot is cartoonish and good-humoured. The pigs are expressive, the mud is played for laughs and nothing on screen takes itself seriously. It is a game for a light, short session rather than a marathon.

Play Piggie 7 free: what to look at

The demo starts you with 1,000 virtual credits, no account and no download. Play 100 spins at a low stake, around 10p, and focus on three things: how often a spin pays, whether a bonus round turns up and how large the bigger wins are compared with your stake. Write those down if you like comparing games. Then decide if you want another hundred, or something with more going on. On a phone it plays perfectly well in the browser.

Because the game is so compact, it also makes a good warm-up: a few minutes here help you get used to the controls, stake buttons and autoplay settings that most Pragmatic Play slots share.

Once you know whether the pig king is your sort of company, the same game runs for real money at the casinos below.
