Dazzle Me: gems, glitter and reels that grow

More than a Starburst lookalike

Dazzle Me shares the jewels and the shine of NetEnt's most famous slot, but it plays quite differently. The symbols are cut gems in bright colours and a few classic fruit-machine icons, set against a glittering mirrored background. The reels start in a modest shape, and the game's main trick is to make them bigger.

Dazzle Reels

On any spin, the Dazzle Reels feature can kick in at random and expand some of the reels so that they show more symbols. Taller reels mean more paylines in play for that spin, and with them more ways for a gem to line up. When the expansion happens, the screen changes shape before your eyes, which is the game's most satisfying moment.

The wild helps complete lines and works especially well when the reels are at full height.

Scatter symbols trigger the free spins. During the round the reels can expand as well, and further scatters add extra spins. The paytable explains how many symbols you need and how the expanded reels behave in the bonus: check it once and you will read the spins far better.

Dazzle Me free play: what to look for

The demo opens with 1,000 virtual credits, no download and no sign-up. Some ideas:

• Use a stake equivalent to £0.25 and play 200 spins.
• Count how many spins had expanded reels and how those spins paid compared with normal ones.
• Reach the free spins at least twice and watch whether the reels open up during the round.

You'll quickly see that the game's value sits in those expanded spins, which arrive often enough to keep things lively.

Who it suits

Dazzle Me suits anyone who likes Starburst but wants a little more variety in the base game and a proper free spins round. The same game runs for real money at the casinos below.
