Garage: spanners, spare parts and a picking bonus

Life in a lock-up

Where Crazy Monkey goes to the jungle and Resident to the world of spies, Garage stays at home. The setting is a backstreet lock-up, the hero is a mechanic in overalls, and the reels are stacked with tools, tyres, canisters and car parts. It's a theme that struck a chord with players in the gaming halls where Igrosoft's cabinets were everywhere, and the cartoon artwork keeps it light-hearted.

The format will be familiar to anyone who knows the studio: five reels, three rows, lines chosen from the panel, and the mechanic as the wild symbol. Wins pay from left to right along the active lines, so the more lines you switch on, the more chances each spin has to connect.

The bonus round

Bonus symbols on an active line take you into the garage itself for a picking game. You choose where to look, and each choice either reveals a prize or ends the search. Get through the sequence and a final pick can add something extra. The outcome is random, but the slow reveal makes it more watchable than a simple multiplier.

Risk it on the cards

Any line win can go into the risk game, where you pick one of four hidden cards to beat the dealer's. A higher card doubles the win; a lower one wipes it out. It's quick and easy to overuse, which is a good reason to see how it behaves with virtual credits first.

Playing Garage free

The Garage demo starts with 1,000 virtual credits, no account and nothing to download. Play every line at the equivalent of £0.45 for around 150 spins and keep an eye on how often the garage scene appears. A second session that uses the gamble on every small win will show you how much it changes the balance. The game is also offered for real money at the casinos below.
