Cash Patrol: cops, robbers and a free demo

On the beat

Cash Patrol takes the oldest chase in the book, police against robbers, and turns it into a bright, comic-strip slot. Expect patrol cars, badges, masked crooks and money bags, drawn in Pragmatic Play's colourful, slightly cartoonish style. The theme is light-hearted rather than gritty, and the screen stays easy to follow even on a small phone.

This is one of the studio's lesser-known titles, so we'll stick to what we can confirm and leave the mechanics to the game's own rules screen. Open it before spinning: it shows the grid, how lines pay and what the bonus feature does.

How to test Cash Patrol free

The demo gives you 1,000 virtual credits, no download and no sign-up. With a game you don't know, a structured session pays off:

• Fix a stake equivalent to £0.20 or £0.50.
• Play 200 spins and keep a rough count of wins versus blank spins.
• Note when the bonus arrives, if it does, and what it returns compared with your stake.

If you don't see the feature in 200 spins, that's useful information too: it tells you the game may need a bigger budget, or more patience, than you'd like.

Who it's for

Players who enjoy a playful theme and a game they can pick up instantly. It won't replace the studio's flagship series for anyone chasing elaborate bonus rounds, but it makes a good change of pace.

There's no bonus buy on this version. If Cash Patrol makes your shortlist, the same game runs for real money at the casinos listed below.
