Fruit Cocktail: Igrosoft's fruit machine with a twist

Fruit, but not the usual kind of fruit slot

Plenty of fruit machines stop at cherries and sevens. Igrosoft's Fruit Cocktail, a regular in gaming halls long before it moved online, gives the theme more personality: cartoon fruit with faces, a fizzy cocktail glass and the bright, slightly noisy presentation the studio is known for.

The reels are laid out five by three, with lines you activate from the control panel. Low-value fruit lands often and keeps small wins ticking over; the cocktail is the symbol everyone waits for.

The bonus: a slot inside the slot

What players remember about Fruit Cocktail is the bonus round. Instead of a plain free spins counter, the screen changes to a compact machine: a short row of symbols in the middle, surrounded by a ring of squares. A light runs around the ring and stops; if it lands on a symbol that also appears in the centre, you collect. An exit square brings the round to a close, so each run of the light carries a bit of suspense.

Like the main game, it is pure chance, but it plays at a different pace and breaks up long stretches of base spins nicely.

Double or nothing

After each win, the risk game offers a card duel: the dealer shows one card and you pick from four face-down ones. Beat the dealer and the win doubles; fail and it's gone. It's tempting after a small win, which is exactly why it's worth testing calmly in the demo first.

How to approach Fruit Cocktail free play

There's nothing to install and no account to open: the demo loads with 1,000 virtual credits. Play all lines at the equivalent of £0.45 a spin for 150 spins and note how often the bonus machine appears and what it typically pays compared with your stake. Then play a second batch where you gamble every win and see which approach leaves more credits. The same Fruit Cocktail slot is available for real money at the casinos below.
