Hot Fruits 20: cherries, sevens and nothing to slow you down

A fruit machine in its purest form

Some players want features; others want a slot that resolves a spin in a second and moves on. Hot Fruits 20 is for the second group. Amatic fills five reels and three rows with cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes, watermelons and the red seven, all wreathed in flames. Twenty fixed lines run across the screen, which is the main difference from the five- and ten-line fruit games many people grew up with.

More lines means more small wins landing in a session, often several lines at once from the same fruit. It also means individual line wins are smaller relative to your total stake, so don't expect a cherry line to feel like much.

The scatter and the gamble

The scatter symbol pays wherever it lands rather than on a line, so it's worth keeping an eye on the whole screen. The paytable, behind the info button, shows exactly how much three, four or five of them return. After any win you can choose the card gamble: red or black, double or lose. That's the only decision the game asks you to make.

How to play Hot Fruits 20 free

The demo gives you 1,000 virtual credits, no download and no account. With no bonus round to wait for, a session tells you its story quickly. Spin 150 times at a fixed stake and look at the shape of your balance: lots of tiny ups and downs, with the occasional burst when sevens or watermelons line up across several lines.

Then compare with Hot Fruits 40 or Hot Fruits 100 in our lobby. Same fruit, different grid, and the difference in rhythm is surprisingly noticeable.

Best for

Quick sessions on a phone, fans of classic fruit machines and anyone who finds modern bonus features tiring. If that sounds like you, the same game runs for real money at the casinos below.
