The anime look sets this one apart from the start: a smiling princess in a starry sky, glowing gems on the reels and coloured hearts, crowns and chalices among the higher symbols. Pragmatic Play built Starlight Princess on the same scatter-pays idea as its candy slots, then gave it a different engine for the big moments. You can play Starlight Princess free here, with no download and no account.
Eight anywhere, then tumble
The grid is six reels by five rows. Eight or more matching symbols anywhere on screen make a win, the winners disappear and new symbols fall into the gaps. The tumble continues while new wins keep forming. The gems are the low-paying symbols; the crown and the red heart sit at the top of the table.
The princess and her multipliers
During any spin, base game included, multiplier symbols can drop onto the grid. When the tumble sequence ends, their values are added together and applied to the total win of that sequence. If no win formed, they are lost. It means the base game can produce a surprise on any ordinary spin, which is the main difference you notice compared with slots that keep multipliers for the bonus.
Free spins that remember
Four or more scatter symbols start the free spins, and more scatters during the round add extra spins. Here the multipliers stop resetting: every multiplier that contributes to a win is added to a running total, and that total applies to every later winning sequence until the round ends. An early run of multipliers can therefore shape the whole bonus, while a slow start leaves you relying on late luck.
Testing tips for the Starlight Princess slot
- Play 150 to 200 spins to see the bonus at least once in most sessions.
- In the base game, watch whether multipliers land on winning or losing tumbles.
- In the free spins, keep an eye on the running total in the corner: it tells the story of the round.
The Starlight Princess free play works smoothly on phones and tablets. When you are ready, the same game runs for real money at the casinos below.
Questions players ask
Do multipliers appear outside the free spins in Starlight Princess?
Yes. Multiplier symbols can land in the base game too. They apply only if the tumble sequence they land in finishes with a win.
How do the free spins multipliers work?
Each multiplier that is part of a win is added to a total that stays for the rest of the round and applies to every later winning sequence.
