Zero Orbit: a planet on every row, free to play

The multiplier belongs to the row

Each of the five rows has its own planet, and every planet starts the round at ×1. When a cluster wins, it is multiplied by the highest planet among the rows it touches. Then every planet on those rows climbs one step, up to a maximum of ×10. Because the game cascades, a single spin can push two or three rows up the ladder before it settles. On the next paid spin, all planets go back to ×1.

That one rule shapes the whole slot. A tall vertical cluster that crosses four rows benefits far more than a flat one, and you start to watch where symbols fall rather than what they are.

Reels, clusters and the cast

The grid is 6 reels by 5 rows. Groups of 5 or more identical symbols that touch side by side, above or below, win, disappear and are replaced by new ones dropping from the top. The low symbols are four coloured gems, cyan, violet, amber and pink; above them sit the crystal, the rocket and the planet. Two specials complete the set:

• The comet is the wild. It stands in for any symbol except the portal, and the moment it lands, the planet on its row moves up a step straight away.
• The portal is the scatter that opens the free spins.

The poster is pure magenta nebula: an astronaut in a white and violet suit reaching out of the frame towards you, a ringed planet hanging behind her. Nocturn Play keeps the same neon pink and cyan in the game, bright without hiding the grid.

Portal free spins

Four, five or six or more portals anywhere give 10, 12 or 15 free spins, plus a portal prize. The key difference with the base game is that planets keep their level for the entire bonus. A row that reaches ×6 on the second spin stays at ×6 or higher until the end. Inside the bonus, 3 portals add 5 spins and 4 or more add 8, with 40 spins as the ceiling. The maximum win is 5,000× the bet.

What to try in the free demo

• Play 150 base spins at a steady stake, the equivalent of £0.40 for example. Watch the planet column on the side rather than the win meter: it tells you which rows are warming up within a cascade.
• Count three-portal spins. They do not trigger anything in the base game, but they show how close you are getting.
• Use the bonus buy with virtual credits: 10 free spins for 35× the bet. Buy it four or five times. Some rounds will build two or three high planets early, others will stay flat; the gap between them is the real character of this slot.

Autoplay can stop when the bonus lands, and turbo shortens the cascades if you want to get through more spins.
