Flamenco Roses: a Spanish night on the reels

The setting

Few slots commit to a theme the way Flamenco Roses does. The reels sit in front of a warm Andalusian backdrop, the music leans on Spanish guitar, and the symbols are drawn from the dance hall: the dancer, the guitarist, fans, castanets and the red roses that give the game its name. The card values are styled to match, so even the low symbols feel part of the picture.

Behind the decoration, it is a five-reel video slot in Greentube’s usual mould, clear to read and quick to spin.

Features and how to check them

Flamenco Roses mixes line wins with a bonus round triggered by special symbols. Rather than guess at the details, use the info screen: it shows how the free games are triggered, what the wild substitutes for and any extra rules that apply during the bonus. It takes a minute and turns the demo from simple spinning into actual learning.

Like many Greentube titles, it also offers a gamble after wins, where you can try to double a result by guessing a card colour.

Getting to know it in demo mode

The Flamenco Roses demo provides 1,000 virtual credits, with no download and no sign-up. Here is a simple structure for a first session:

• read the paytable, then play 300 spins at a stake equivalent to £0.20;
• note how many spins it takes to reach the bonus, and what it pays;
• pay attention to which premium symbols seem to carry the base game.

If the first bonus arrives early, do not read too much into it. Several rounds tell you far more than one.
