Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe: under the sea with doubled and tripled wins

A quiet ocean, a simple set of rules

Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe comes from the same family as Book of Ra and Lucky Lady’s Charm, and it shares their bones: five reels, three rows, ten lines and a gamble option after each win. The difference is the mood. Instead of a tomb or a fortune-teller you get a calm blue seabed with a lobster, a ray, a seahorse and a few fish swimming between the card symbols.

Compared with the older classic, the Deluxe version from Greentube adds a tenth line and smoother, brighter graphics. The maths of the features stays close to what players know.

The dolphin and the pearl

The dolphin is the wild. It substitutes for every symbol except the scatter and doubles any line win it takes part in. Five dolphins on a line also pay on their own, and that is the top symbol of the game.

The pearl in its shell is the scatter. Three or more anywhere award fifteen free games, during which every win is tripled. More pearls in the round add further free games, so a good bonus can stretch out much longer than fifteen spins.

Testing the Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe demo

You start with 1,000 virtual credits, no download and no account. The bonus is not frequent, so give it time: 300 to 400 spins at a stake equivalent to £0.10 gives you a fair chance of seeing two or three rounds. Watch how many of your base game wins came with a dolphin attached, because that doubling is what keeps the balance moving between bonuses.

The red or black card gamble is there after every win. Try it in demo, but notice how often a modest win disappears on the first guess.
