Egypt Sky: the night-time side of EGT’s Egypt

A different light

Open Egypt Sky after Rise of Ra and the contrast is clear. The palette shifts to deep blues and purples, pyramids stand out against the night, and the symbols take on a cooler glow. The structure is classic EGT: five reels, card royals for the frequent small wins and themed symbols, gods and sacred objects, for the larger pays. It is a pleasant game to look at for a long session, which matters on a slot built around waiting for a bonus.

How the bonus works

Scatter symbols are the key. Land enough of them anywhere on the reels and the free spins begin. The info screen spells out the trigger and the number of spins, along with any special rule applied during the round, so read it once before you play: the details are what separate Egypt Sky from the studio’s other Egyptian titles.

In the base game, the reels behave like a regular line slot. Most spins return little or nothing, and the occasional line of high symbols lifts the balance.

Double or nothing

Every win can be gambled on the colour of a hidden card. It is the same red or black game found across EGT’s catalogue: double if you are right, lose the win if you are wrong.

Pay attention to the stake as well. A smaller bet spreads your credits over more spins, which matters on a game whose value is concentrated in the free spins. The demo lets you test two or three levels side by side without any cost.

Play Egypt Sky free

The Egypt Sky demo gives you 1,000 virtual credits with no account and no download. Set the equivalent of £0.10 a line and plan 300 spins, enough to see the free spins more than once in most sessions. Note how long each wait was and how the round played out. If you want to compare, run the same test on Rise of Ra: same theme, different rhythm. The same game is available for real money at the casinos below.
