81 Wins: four reels and a ways system

Counting the ways

81 Wins uses four reels with three rows each. Every left-to-right path through the grid counts as a way to win: three positions on each reel, four reels, three times three times three times three makes eighty-one. Matching symbols on neighbouring reels from the left pay, whatever row they sit on. There are no lines to follow and nothing to select. It is a neat system and very easy to read once you have seen a few wins.

Familiar fruit, different shape

The reels carry the usual EGT fruit: cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes, watermelons and sevens, along with a scatter that pays anywhere. What makes 81 Wins different from the Hot slots is the shape. Four reels instead of five means the longest combination is four symbols, so a full four-of-a-kind on sevens is the line everyone waits for.

With twelve positions on screen, screens filled with a single fruit are rarer than on Great 27 but bigger when they come.

No free spins, one gamble

There is no bonus round. After a win, you can collect or gamble it on the colour of a face-down card. Double or nothing, as quick as it sounds.

Stakes are set per spin, not per line, so there is nothing to configure beyond the bet level. That makes 81 Wins a comfortable game to pick up on a phone: tap, watch four reels stop, and the ways do the rest. It also means the cost of a spin never changes unexpectedly, whatever lands.

Play 81 Wins free

The 81 Wins demo starts with 1,000 virtual credits, no download, no registration. Try 250 spins at the equivalent of £0.20, and keep a count of four-reel wins against three-reel ones. Then play the same session on Great 27 to feel what the extra reel adds. If you prefer longer combinations, the five-reel Hot slots are the next step. The same game is available for real money at the casinos below.
