40 Burning Hot 6 Reels: one extra column, a new rhythm

Why a sixth reel changes things

On a standard five-reel slot, five of a kind is the top of every line. In 40 Burning Hot 6 Reels, a sixth column sits on the right, and lines can now run to six matching symbols. The paytable reflects that, with separate values for six in a row. It sounds like a small tweak, but it means the end of the reel set suddenly matters: a fruit that lands on reels one to five keeps you watching the last reel spin.

The look stays true to the family. Flames around the frame, cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes, watermelons and the burning seven, forty fixed lines across the grid.

Compared with the five-reel 40 Burning Hot

The original 40 Burning Hot relies on stacks across four rows. The 6 Reels edition trades some of that vertical drama for horizontal length. Wins that stop at five feel incomplete here, and full six-reel lines on high symbols are the hits to remember. If you know the five-reel game well, play both side by side in demo before deciding which you prefer.

Scatter and gamble

There is no free spins round. Scatters pay anywhere, and any win can be gambled on the colour of a hidden card. The info screen lists which symbols count as scatters and how they pay on six reels.

Expect the base game to feel a little slower than the five-reel version: the extra column takes a moment longer to stop, and the eye naturally follows it. Some players like that pause, others find it drags; a short demo session settles the question.

Play it free

The 40 Burning Hot 6 Reels demo opens with 1,000 virtual credits, no download and no account. Try 200 spins at the equivalent of £0.40 and note how many line wins reach the sixth reel. It is a simple count, but it tells you a lot about how this version plays. The same game is available for real money at the casinos below.
