100 Cats: a hundred lines of feline charm

Cats, and lots of lines

Animal slots are everywhere, but cats get surprisingly few. 100 Cats fills that gap with a reel set full of cats, each with its own expression, alongside card royals for the lower pays. The artwork is soft and colourful, closer to a cartoon than the studio’s gothic or Egyptian titles.

The number in the title is the line count, as usual with EGT. A hundred lines across the reels means many spins return something, even if it is less than the stake. The cats at the top of the paytable are the ones that make a difference.

Free spins and scatters

The bonus is a free spins round started by scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. The info screen gives the trigger, the number of spins and any special rule during the round. With so many lines active, a round of free spins can stack up a lot of small and medium wins, so watch the total climb rather than individual spins.

The gamble

Every win can be gambled on a red or black card guess. On a hundred-line game where wins are frequent, it is easy to over-use the button; the demo is a good place to see what that does to a balance.

The 100 Cats demo starts with 1,000 virtual credits, no account, no download. Because of the line count, the minimum stake per spin is higher than on smaller games, so pick a low level and plan 250 spins. Compare the number of wins below your stake with the ones above it; on a hundred-line slot that ratio says more than the win counter. Then try a few spins at a higher bet to feel the pace change. The same game runs for real money at the casinos listed below.

The cheerful look also makes it a relaxed choice on a phone, where the large symbols stay easy to read.
