The sun is going down behind the rigging, and Admiral Mojo – a grinning monkey in a starred bicorne, navy coat and gold epaulettes – hurls a die off the deck straight at you. That poster is the most dramatic thing about Starboard Dice, and deliberately so: the game itself is clean, quick and readable. It belongs to the Nocturn Originals range from Nocturn Play, and you can play Starboard Dice free here with demo credits, no download and no sign-up.
How the dice game works
The screen shows a single rail from 0.00 to 100.00, with two decimal places. Drag the gold handle to set your line, then choose a side with the Roll over / Roll under switch. The part of the rail you are betting on turns gold.
As you move the line, two figures change together: the win chance and the multiplier. A wide gold side means a high chance and a small multiplier; a narrow one means a low chance and a big payout. You can drag the handle or type either value directly.
Press Bet. Admiral Mojo throws the golden die along the rail and it stops on a number. Land on the gold side and you win your bet times the multiplier; land on the other side and the bet is lost. String a few wins together and his lucky sail goes up – a purely cosmetic touch, but a cheerful one.
How big can a win be?
The narrowest winning side the game allows is two points wide. At that setting the multiplier is just over 40× the bet. That is the ceiling: Starboard Dice is not a game of enormous single hits, but of choosing your own balance between frequency and size, round after round.
Autobet and testing a system for free
Dice games attract people who like to tinker, and the Auto tab is built for that. You set:
- the number of bets, or 0 to run until you stop it;
- what the bet does after a win and after a loss – go back to the base bet, or rise by a percentage you choose;
- an optional stop on profit and stop on loss.
This is exactly where a Starboard Dice demo earns its keep. Any progression that raises the bet after losses can feel reliable for a while; run it for a few hundred rolls with virtual credits and you will see how it behaves when a losing streak arrives. Try a high-chance line around the middle of the rail, then a narrow one near the edge, and compare.
Fairness and mobile play
Every result is drawn by the game server when you bet; the animation only plays it back. The Fairness panel gives the details for anyone who wants them. On a phone, the rail stretches across the screen and the handle is easy to drag with a thumb, so quick sessions on the move work well. There is no bonus round and no bonus buy – the line, the side and the die are the whole game.
The demo uses play money only. The same game runs for real money at the casinos below.

Does autobet work in the free version?
Yes. You can set the number of bets, on-win and on-loss rules, and stop-on-profit or stop-on-loss limits, all with virtual credits.
Do I need to sign up to play the demo?
No. It opens instantly in the browser on desktop and mobile, with nothing to install.
