Lucky Lady's Charm: crystal ball and lucky charms

A slot built on superstition

Every symbol in Lucky Lady's Charm is a good-luck token of some sort: the ladybird, the horseshoe, the four-leaf clover, the coin. They sit above the usual card values on five reels and three rows, with nine paylines in the classic version. A woman with a golden halo of hair, the Lucky Lady herself, is the wild.

Lady wild and crystal ball scatter

The Lucky Lady substitutes for everything except the scatter and doubles the win of any line she completes. A full line of her is also the best regular result on the reels.

The crystal ball is the scatter. Three or more anywhere on screen pay a prize and start 15 free games in which every win is tripled. If the lady lands on a winning line during those games, the doubling stacks with the tripling. Extra crystal balls during the round add another 15 games.

How it differs from Dolphin's Pearl

Mechanically the two are close cousins, and Novomatic built both on the same framework. The difference is in the symbols and the feel. Lucky Lady's Charm has a softer, glittering look and a slightly calmer soundtrack. Many players simply prefer one theme over the other. Trying both in free play is the easiest way to find out which one keeps your attention.

Making the most of the demo

The Lucky Lady's Charm demo gives you 1,000 virtual credits with no sign-up and no download. The free games are the whole point, so play enough spins to see them: 250 to 300 at a stake equal to £0.20 is reasonable. Keep a rough note of what each bonus paid compared with what it took to get there.

You can also try the card gamble after wins. It is a coin-flip on colour, nothing more. When you feel ready, the same game is available for real money at the casinos listed below.
