Just Jewels: gemstones on a plain black background

A jeweller's window, not an adventure

There is no story in Just Jewels and no character to follow. The reels show cut gemstones in different colours, a few precious objects and a crown near the top of the paytable, all set against a dark background that makes the stones stand out. It is one of those Novomatic titles that relies on clean visuals and a quick, regular rhythm.

How the game pays

Wins come from matching symbols along the paylines from left to right, with the richer stones paying more. A scatter symbol pays wherever it lands once enough appear, independently of the lines, which keeps a few extra wins coming between ordinary combinations.

Like Sizzling Hot, Just Jewels has no free games round. That is a deliberate choice: you are not waiting for a bonus that may take two hundred spins to arrive. Every result is final the moment the reels stop, unless you choose to gamble it.

Trying Just Jewels free

The Just Jewels demo gives you 1,000 virtual credits with no sign-up and no download. Because there is no bonus to reach, you can learn the game in a shorter session. About 150 to 200 spins at a stake equal to £0.10 will show you the usual size of wins, how often the scatter pays, and how long the losing runs tend to last.

Open the paytable before you start: it shows what each stone is worth and how the scatter pays, and it only takes a moment.

The gamble option

After any win, the game offers the classic card gamble. Guess red or black correctly and the win doubles; guess wrong and it is gone. On a slot with no free games, the gamble is the only way to turn a small win into a bigger one, which is exactly why it deserves caution. Try it in free play before deciding whether it suits you. The game is also available for real money at the casinos listed below.
