Super Duper Cherry: the humble cherry gets top billing

An old symbol, a new role

Anyone who has played a pub fruit machine knows the cherry: it's usually the low-value fruit that pays back a little of your stake. Super Duper Cherry turns that idea on its head and makes the cherry the hero. The reels are bright and cheerful, with lemons, plums, oranges, grapes, melons and sevens in supporting roles, and the cherries rendered big, glossy and impossible to miss.

The paytable explains exactly what the cherries do in this game and how the lines are laid out. It's the first thing to read, because the cherry's special role is the whole point of the slot.

How a session feels

This is a lively, fast-paced classic. There's no long cinematic bonus; instead, the cherries and the other high symbols produce the moments that stand out between ordinary line wins. Spins finish quickly, so a session moves at whatever pace you set.

After a win, Gamomat's gamble options let you try to increase it or simply collect. As always, they're optional.

Super Duper Cherry free play: what to look for

The demo gives you 1,000 virtual credits; you don't need to sign up or download anything. Pick one stake, perhaps the equivalent of £0.20, and play 200 spins. Count how many of your best results involve cherries. If the number is high, you've understood the game; if not, keep going a little longer, as the cherry moments tend to come in bursts.

It's also a good title to compare with Fancy Fruits. Both are Gamomat fruit slots, but the cherry focus gives this one a distinctly different feel.
