Extra Juicy: a fruit slot built around one big round

Watermelons, grapes, plums and bells, a classic five-reel layout and a soundtrack that would not be out of place in an arcade. On first contact, Extra Juicy seems like one more retro fruit slot from Pragmatic Play. It is not, and you only need one trip into the bonus to see why. The Extra Juicy demo on this page gives you 1,000 virtual credits, with no sign-up and no download.

A quiet base game

The reels pay along fixed lines, from left to right, with the fruit sitting in the lower and middle tiers and the high symbols paying noticeably more. Wins in the base game are usually modest. That is deliberate: much of the game’s value is held back for the free spins, so expect stretches where little happens.

Free spins with a rising multiplier

Scatters trigger the bonus. Once inside, a win multiplier is applied to every free spin, and it does not stay put: it goes up as the round progresses. The early spins of a round are worth relatively little, the late ones a great deal more. Landing more scatters during the feature adds spins, which extends the round and lets the multiplier keep climbing. A round that retriggers once or twice behaves completely differently from one that ends at the first opportunity.

How to test Extra Juicy for free

Because one feature can decide a whole session, play Extra Juicy free for longer than you would a simple fruit slot: 300 spins is a fair minimum. When free spins arrive, watch where the bigger wins fall – near the start of the round, or towards the end when the multiplier is high. Repeat the exercise over a couple of sessions and you will understand why some players love the game and others find the waiting too long. The same game runs for real money at the casinos below.
