Miss Kitty: sticky wilds on a moonlit rooftop

Night on the tiles

Aristocrat's Miss Kitty swaps pharaohs and buffalo for a night-time city: a big round moon, rooftops, a ball of wool, a goldfish, a mouse and a carton of milk. It's light-hearted, almost children's-book artwork, but under it sits a busy layout of five reels, four rows and 50 paylines. With that many lines, small wins drop in often, which keeps the base game moving.

Miss Kitty herself is the wild. She replaces the standard symbols and appears in the base game often enough to tidy up near misses.

Free games where the wilds stay

The full moon is the scatter. Three on the first three reels start the free games. During the round, any Miss Kitty wild that lands locks in place for the rest of the spins. Each new one adds to the collection, so the screen fills up as the round goes on and the last spins tend to be the strongest. Moons can also land again to extend the round, with the sticky wilds still in place.

That is the whole appeal: a bonus that starts quietly and gets better spin by spin, rather than one big reveal.

Getting to know it in the demo

Play Miss Kitty free with 1,000 virtual credits, in your browser, with no sign-up. Some things to check:

• With 50 lines, a stake equivalent to £0.50 is a sensible baseline for the demo.
• In each bonus, count how many wilds have locked by the halfway point. It usually tells you how the round will end.
• Play enough spins to see the free games three or four times: some rounds catch only one or two wilds, others many more.

Is Miss Kitty for you?

If you like features that build rather than flash, this one works well. The art is gentle and the rules are simple, which makes it a good choice for unwinding. The same game is available for real money at the casinos below.
