Skywind slots, free in demo

Skywind builds polished, colourful games, and the selection on this page leans heavily towards East Asian themes. Lucky animals, dragons, gold ingots and gods of fortune fill the reels, with names often taken straight from Mandarin. A couple of titles step outside that world entirely. All eighteen Skywind demo slots here open with 1,000 virtual credits, without registration or download.

Fortune and prosperity

Many of these games revolve around good fortune. Zhao Cai Tong Zi and Song Cai Tong Zi feature the young bringers of wealth from Chinese folklore, Xing Yun Jin Chan centres on the golden toad, a classic symbol of prosperity, and Jin Qian Wa follows a similar idea. Chao Ji 888 plays on the lucky number eight, while Lucky Old Master Q brings a cheerful character to the reels. These titles are bright and busy, so it pays to check the information screen before spinning to see which symbols really matter.

Dragons, monkeys and legends

Dragon Riches, Long Long Long and Shen Long Bao Shi each put dragons at the centre, and Si Xiang draws on the four symbolic creatures of Chinese astronomy. Heavenly Ruler goes even higher. Triple Monkey takes a lighter route with a trio of playful monkeys, and Fu Farm sets its fortune theme in a farmyard. Feng Kuang Ma Jiang brings mahjong tiles onto the reels, a nice change if you know the game.

Outside the Asian theme

A few titles stand out from the rest. Gem Queen is a jewel-themed slot, and Queen of Wands draws on tarot imagery. Lepry Bunny Patrick heads to Ireland with a rabbit and a pot of gold, and Fly Jet adds something more modern. If the Asian titles are not your thing, start here.

If you are new to Asian-themed slots, do not let the unfamiliar names put you off. The rules are no harder than in any other video slot: a wild that substitutes, a scatter that opens the bonus, and a pay table that tells you the rest.

How to test Skywind in demo

• Open the rules first: features vary from one game to the next.
• Play about 100 spins per game, enough to get a sense of the base game and, with luck, the bonus.
• Compare two dragon-themed slots, such as Dragon Riches and Shen Long Bao Shi, to see which pace suits you.

These Skywind free slots run in the browser on phone and desktop. When you have found a favourite, the real-money version is listed at the casinos below.
