Classic and arcade slots, free to play

This corner of the lobby gathers games that do not belong to one tidy family. Some are straightforward reels, some come from the arcade side of gaming, and a few are closer to a fairground than a casino floor. What they share is that each one opens instantly on 1,000 virtual credits, with no sign-up and nothing to install, which makes this collection a good place to try formats you might never pick in a real-money lobby.

Fishing and shooting tables

Several titles here are fishing games, where you aim a cannon at creatures swimming across the screen and each catch pays a multiple of your shot. Bird Hunter swaps the sea for the sky, while Fishermans Wharf, Ocean Paradise, Ocean King 3 10000, Jin Chan Bu Yu 10000 and Li Kui Pi Yu 10000 keep things underwater. Versions with 10000 in the name, such as Bird Hunter 10000 or Fishermans Wharf 10000, are separate editions of the same idea. In demo, spend a few minutes learning which targets are worth your shots and how the cannon level changes the cost of each one.

Coin pushers and keno

The coin pushers recreate the fairground machine: coins drop onto a moving shelf and you hope the pile tips over the edge. Coin Pusher Pirate King, Coin Pusher Ganesh and Coin Pusher Caisendao each add their own theme and bonus items. For number games, Lucky Keno, Golden Egg Keno, Last Blast Keno, Keno Pop1 and Ducky Power Ball Keno let you pick numbers and watch the draw. Keno rounds are quick, so a demo session of fifty draws gives you a fair idea of how often your selections land.

Pop slots and quick reels

Cherry Pop and Hippo Pop are bright, cartoon-style reel slots, while Fruitoids, Boiling Pots, Glacier Gold, Golden Chief, Katana and Fire Fly cover more traditional reel play in a range of settings. The rules vary a lot from one game to the next, so open the pay table before you start rather than assuming it works like the last slot you played.

How to approach this collection

• Start with one game from each format: a fishing table, a coin pusher, a keno board and a reel slot.
• Keep your stake fixed for a while so you can see how each format spends your credits.
• On fishing games, compare a low cannon level with a high one over the same number of shots.

Everything here runs in the browser on phone or desktop. If a format clicks with you, the casinos listed below offer real-money play.
